No Dial Tone - Adtran

  1. Locate your modem, shown in image, and unplug the power cable. You should see all lights power off.
    1. Warning: This will take down the internet service until power is restored to the modem.
  2. Verify your modem cables are connected properly

    1. Phone cable - Verify that the phone cable is connected in the phone port on the modem. Verify that the cable goes to the wall jack or phone base.
    2. Wall Jack - Verify that the wall jack is secure and not loose. Make sure there are no exposed wires.

  3. Plug the modem power cable back in.
    1. Notice: The lights on the modem will flash and light up. Allow the modem up to 5 minutes to finish processing.
  4. Attempt to make a test call from the home phone to your cell phone or a neighbor.
  5. Do you still not have dial tone? Please contact us for more troubleshooting.
