Set Up Your Payment Method

Here is the link to your customer portal, which allows you to better manage your account in any way, at any time. https://portal.ideatek.com

Our IdeaTek portal allows you to:

  • Review past invoices created through the new system
  • Manage your payment method. You can make credit card and ACH payments with no convenience fees. Or, set up payments to be automatically withdrawn from your bank account, and you’ll never have to worry about late payments again.

To create a new account, please follow these simple steps:

  1. Visit https://portal.ideatek.com, then click "New portal user? Register an account here!”
  1. Enter the email address associated with your account in the Email Address field.
  1. Check your inbox for a welcome email titled "IdeaTek customer portal account creation.” If you do not see it in your inbox, please check your spam folder. Open the email and click the link to fill out the form using the same email, your new username and your new password.

You can now log in to view invoices and add a payment method to your account. Signing up for autopay also saves you the $3 manual payment processing fee.

Forgot your username or password? Click on "recover username or reset password.”

Trouble logging in? Email billing@ideatek.com or call us at 620-543-5555.

Drop-Bury Process - What to Expect

To provide you with our lightning-fast internet, we must bury a fiber line to bring service to your home. This process is called a drop-bury. Below is a brief outline of what to expect during the drop-bury process.

Fiber Optic Internet Installation:
  1. We bury a fiber line to bring the service into your home.
  2. The small, black line in your yard is your dedicated fiber line.
  3. Our bury team will bury the line after all utilities are marked with flags and paint.
  4. This process usually takes about 14 days, but weather can cause delays.
What to Expect:
  1. Utilities will be marked with flags and paint.
  2. The bury team typically doesn't need to enter your house.
  3. In some cases, a new line is buried and a technician will "cut over" the line.
  4. Your yard might be slightly disturbed, but it will recover after rain.

If you have questions, please contact our Customer Service Team located in Buhler by phone at 620-543-5555 or email help@ideatek.com.
