⋆ Mesh Setup Tips and Suggestions

Idea
Before you finalize your placement, Please review these 3 quick tips for placing mesh units to ensure you will have a good experience

If you have our 5G or 8G plan, please review the ☆ Adtran 8632 Mesh section first as the steps are different, then review these tips for finalizing the placement.

  1. Your Mesh Extender should be close to halfway between your router and the furthest location where the WiFi coverage is needed for the fastest speeds and best connection.
    1. Generally a maximum of 30-40 feet from the main router. If it's placed farther away, devices connected to the Mesh Extender may experience slower WiFi speeds. (even though your device may be showing a strong WiFi connection)
  2. Ensure that dense materials aren't blocking your WiFi signal. Materials like metal, concrete, glass/mirrors, plaster walls, and dense wood can diminish the signal strength.
  3. Ensure the mesh unit is in the open and not inside a cabinet or drawer, or near a microwave or other large appliance
